KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for an Investigation Help Team Specialist. Candidates for this opening can be located remotely and work from home.

The Investigation Help Desk Specialist position will provide support to all staff related to case coverage and other related inquiries on background investigations on the NBIB and other contracts within the intelligence community.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide general interpretative guidance on the NBIB handbook, Tiered Investigation Guide, and subsequent clarifications, and their application to field investigations, including coverage.Become proficient at and provide support for additional contracts.

  • Determines whether additional scheduling of investigative item(s) is necessary according to established guidelines, parameters, and standard operating procedures

  • Provide guidance on reporting investigations into and navigating FWS, PIPS, and CMS systems

  • Assist the field investigators in reworking deficient cases

  • Proficiently use the Internet to research addresses and phone numbers and will be able to provide guidance and tips regarding specific geographical areas

  • Regular and punctual attendance during assigned working hours

  • Ability to provide timely responses to inquiries

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3 years progressively responsible work experience may be substituted for degree.

  • New hire orientation

  • Extensive experience with NBIB handbook and coverage requirements preferred

  • Three (3) years’ experience as a field investigator or case reviewer (within the last 4 years) is preferred.

  • Must have excellent time management organization and people skills and be comfortable on the telephone.

  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Must have good computer skills that include MS Office

  • Experience with FWS, PIPS, and portal required

  • U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
