KeyPoint Government Solutions Systems Administrator in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania
KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for a Systems Administrator. Candidates for this opening must be located in the area of Loveland, CO or Slippery Rock, PA, or include a cover letter explaining relocation plans.
This position is responsible for planning, installing, configuring and maintaining server software/hardware systems. This position will be working with HP server equipment, Cisco networking equipment, EMC storage, as well as security appliances and systems. The position will handle daily operations as well as assisting in planning and implementing upgrades and new rollouts.
Installs, configures, updates and maintains server software/hardware
Troubleshoots and replaces failed hardware and resolves system issues
Tracks system capacity / performance, initiates corrective action and generates reports
Configures SAN/NAS devices for data storage
Configures Cisco LAN/WAN devices
Other duties as assigned
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Systems Engineering. Equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience may be substituted for degree
New hire orientation
Minimum two years’ progressively responsible IT work experience
Knowledge of Windows Server Environment, Active Directory, Exchange, system virtualization, and security best practices
Familiar with Lync and Unified Messaging, Cisco IOS and general networking concepts
Exposure to System Center Configuration Manager, or another monitoring framework, and associated products a plus
Working knowledge of all areas of IT environment with a wide variety of devices, infrastructures and operating systems
Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with others
Good organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects / assignments simultaneously
Must be able to work under general supervision in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint. Will require SSBI Clearance.
