KeyPoint Government Solutions Field Manager in Alexandria, Virginia
KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for a Field Manager. Candidates for this opening must be located in the Alexandria, VA area or within a 150-mile radius of the city, or include a cover letter explaining relocation plans.
The Field Manager's primary function is to ensure a quality product is provided to the customer in a timely manner. The Field Manager provides investigator case workload management as well as oversight of the investigator workforce in a designated area of the country.
Primary duties of the FM include managing a diverse group of remote field investigators; monitoring the progress of field investigations in association with timely completion within established customer contract guidelines; coordination with the Workload Manager to provide efficient case assignment; providing on-going oversight and instruction regarding new policies, clarifications and guidance put forth by the customer and KeyPoint.
Perform duties as requested by senior management
Communicate with field staff on a daily basis via telephone, voice mail and e-mail
Manage investigative case timeliness, investigator capacity; and, production and quality requirements
Provide daily supervision including hiring, training, evaluations, disciplinary action, coaching, counseling and termination actions with direct reports
Manage supervisory administrative processes including, time off requests, payroll approval and submission, and preparation of investigator workload reports
Effectively utilize government and internal database reports to manage investigators and workload assignments
Initiate follow-up processes to ensure tracking, reassignment, and completion of refiled casework
Communicate workload and capacity needs to Workload Manager
Ensure administrative procedures regarding staffing changes are completed
Prepare for and conducts regular telephonic conferences for field staff; conducts field visits as needed
Ensure all policy updates are incorporated into the government provided investigations manual
Attend meetings and training classes as required
Furnish management with data and recommendations for staff promotions, pay increases, bonuses and awards
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year work experience, or 3 years of progressively responsible work experience required
New hire orientation
Prior management experience preferred but not required
One year of experience working on the NBIB project or other government background investigations preferred but not required
Ability to demonstrate leadership, exercise good judgment and make independent decisions
Ability to communicate effectively with all client groups as a representative of KeyPoint
Must be dependable, highly responsible and have exceptional customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, changing environment
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
